International Helmet Awareness Day 2015

Guess what time of the year it is? It's International Helmet Awareness Day tomorrow, where lots of tack stores will team up with Riders4Helmets to give great deals on helmets, to help riders protect their heads for less. I believe wearing your helmet is incredibly important because, although our sport is very fun it can also be very dangerous, it is ranked one of the world's most dangerous sports. In order to prevent the higher risk of head trauma, wear a helmet! Your helmet does not have to a GPA or a Samshield, just getting the right riding helmet to fit your head will do the trick. If you don't love the look of your helmet, you can jazz it up with a monogram to look even better! If you like sparkles more and more companies, are starting to make helmets with sparkles/crystals so you can customize your look of your helmet to you. There are so many options of helmets to choose from, so why not wear one? Remember to mind your melon.
How do you know when its time to replace your helmet:
When you have dropped your helmet or have had an accident its time to invest in a new helmet. Another factor is age, if you helmet is five years old after it's manufacturing date it is time for an upgrade!
