Today I decided to do something a little diffrent, I came up with three snacks that are healthy, easy and tasty what more could you ask for? These snacks are great for on the go for horse shows, or if you forgot to eat something before heading out to the barn. Remember: It does NOT matter what size you take it just matters if you are happy and healthy!
Snack #1: Peanut butter & rice cakes.
I LOVE peanut butter I could sit down and eat it straight out of the jar, its definitely one of my favorite things in life. Take two unsalted rice cakes and spread the peanut butter with a knife and enjoy! I would reccomend that you bring the peanut butter in a seperate container along with a plastic knife, as bringing this snack already prepared can be messy!

Snack #2: Boiled eggs.
I love bringing boiled eggs to the barn and shows as they are full of protein, and fill me up! First bring approximately three cups of water to a boil, then add however many eggs you desire to the water gentily as they break easily! Cook in the water for ten minutes and let them cool down before peeling and then they are ready to be packed. I usually make bunch at a time and store them in the fridge so I can grab them when ever needed. I reccomend adding a pinch of pepper for extra flavor!

Snack #3: Strawberrie cherrie super smoothie.
Smoothies have to be one of my most favorite things, they are so good for you!
Ingredients:
1 cup of water
1 cup of frozen cherries
1 cup of frozen strawberries
1 cup of baby spinach
1 Tbsp of chia seeds
1 Tsp of honey
Combine all the ingredients together in a blender (I love my Vitamix!), blend until all ingredients are smooth and serve! I reccomend bringing your smoothie in a insulated cup as it is easy to bring to shows and such.
